New Pathways Counseling is the main program of Catholic Social Service of Sacramento, and provides Sacramento area residents with direct mental health services including counseling services and parent education, from its counseling center located at 5890 Newman Court, Sacramento, CA 95819-2608. Our program specifically exists to assist people, especially families, in overcoming the financial barrier of accessing affordable mental health services by providing these services based on ability to pay. We provide children's group meetings and parenting classes, and use professionally state licensed and pre-licensed therapists to facilitate these sessions. We served well over 1000 clients last year-- 32% were children ages 12 and under; 20% were adolescents ages 13-17.
